Holy Heart of Jesus Christ
The Sacred Heart is a devotion to the heart of Jesus Christ, as a symbol of the divine love by which God took on human nature and gave his life for mankind. The heart is depicted enflamed by the Holy Spirit, surrounded by the crown of thorns which represents the Passion of Christ, and usually surmounted by a cross, symbol of Faith.
